I’m Sydney, an artist, maker, and creative living in conversation with the natural world.
My work moves between painting, jewelry, botanical offerings, writing, and the many strange little objects and rituals that make a life feel more meaningful.
I’ve always been interested in the space between the tangible and intangible: the stories we attach to objects, the places that change us, the intuition that quietly guides us, and the small moments that make ordinary life feel a little more mysterious.
Much of my creative practice is rooted in nature. I live and work on a small farmstead in the Pacific Northwest, where my days are shaped by the seasons, the landscape, and the ongoing process of building a life around the things I believe in. The land has become both a studio and a teacher, reminding me to work slowly, pay attention, and leave room for wonder.
I make things because I believe objects can carry meaning. A painting can become a portal. A piece of jewelry can become a talisman. A flower essence can mark a season of transformation. A found object can remind us of a version of ourselves we had forgotten.
My practice is ultimately an exploration of beauty, mystery, devotion, and becoming.
I’m interested in following an idea simply because it feels alive, even when I don't yet know where it will lead. This website is a collection of those explorations: art to live with, adornments to wear, botanical offerings, and notes from the studio.
Thank you for wandering in.
